Finland

The Swedish-Russian War was from 1808 till 1809.
It was a Napoleonic war, because Napoleon had insisted on it by the Treaty of Tilsit.

From 5 - 13 sept. 2017 I travelled in Finland to see the remains of this war.
(I was also for two days in Schweden, from Vaasa tot Umea and back. You see the result later when I make a trip to Schweden and Norway.)

In July 2017 we made a trip through the south of Germany, called Das Schwarzwald.

In the Haute-Vienne (France)

In July 2017 I was in the Haute-Vienne (dep.87) in France.
We visited many towns and villages.

We had to go home earlier then our planning.
The windshield of our camper was broken during the night.
Garglass in the Netherlands has repaired all!

In April 2017 I was on the Balkan. I visited seven countries all with Napoleon-objects.

In Namibia

From 29th Jan. till 19th Febr. 2017 I travelled with my wife and friends through Namibia.
It was a beautiful trip of tree weeks.
We saw many wild animals, walked in the dessert, stayed in modern lodges eso.
It took 5000 km to see it all!
