In July 2016 I was for some days in Luxemburg.
There is a lot to see about Napoleon!
Of course I made a website of this trip.

In September 2016 I went for Scotland.
My intentions were to seek for the opponents of Napoleon in Scotland.
I found many traces of it.

In June 2016 I was searching for Napoleon-object in the departement of Corrèze in France.
The department number is 19.
It took a few days to find them all.
The weather was good and I enjoyed it.
Maybe I will take a trip in all the departments of France?
The results are on:

Baltic States
In May 2016 I was in the Baltic States: Lotvia, Lithuania, Estonia and the oblast Kaliningrad.
Napoleon had done there a lot.
The battles of Eylau and Friendland are wellknown.
Also Tilsit, now called Sovjetsk.
Entering Kaliningrad is very hard: you need a visum (150 euro) and wait on the border for more then two hours!
But: the results are there!
You can see them on:

On Mauritius
In April 2016 my wife and I went to Mauritius.
We had two reasons.
First: since Chrismas 2015 our son, his woman and four grandchildren have been for a long period working and living there. We liked to see them, so we went! It was a nice stay!
Second: there are a few traces of the Napoleontic-area on Mauritius. In the former days it was a French Island, called Île de France. We could not find everthing, but we have planned to return in 2017 to search for the rest.
The results of our work you can see on: www.roelkvos.nl/napmauritius

This was our favorit swimming spot!
